Spectrum Optics DS 8 Dobsonian telescope is a combination of optical quality and value. Not only does it provide you with an 8” (200mm) aperture that delivers sharp and bright images, it comes with a dual speed 2” Crayford style focuser with 1.25” adapter that assures you that you will have precise focusing. Whether you are looking at a deep sky object or planetary or lunar features, having precise focus is critical.
Combine the unique curved spider vane and you will have a great experience with our DS 8. Our rocker box uses Teflon pads for smooth motion for the base and our easy adjust tension knobs will make star hopping a breeze.
