Hi, I'm Tanner! I've been fascinated by the mysteries of the universe for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood interest has grown into a lifelong passion for astronomy, telescope optics, and sharing the night sky with others.

Whether I'm leading a stargazing experience or exploring the night sky on my own, I'm constantly reminded why I fell in love with space. My hope is to inspire that same sense of curiosity and wonder in others.

I realized that space really is cool! I’ve spent my whole life developing a deep admiration for our universe. That admiration has grown into a love for showing and educating others about the wonders hidden in the skies above us.

I am an avid believer in preserving and protecting Utah’s beautiful dark skies from the ever-encroaching problem of light pollution. I am also passionate about reducing my contribution to light pollution, educating others on the negative impact of light pollution, and teaching how they can help! To support this mission I became an advocate for DarkSky International and have enjoyed my continued efforts for public education.
